Signs of Change

Free co-design workshop for the new visual identity of Cooperativa La Paranza

Registration deadline: August 5th, 2024
Workshop curated by 17studio

Born and grown up in the Rione Sanità of Naples and we are defined changemakers.

The mission of our cooperative La Paranza is to redeem the Rione Sanità, to create confidence and generate opportunities for its inhabitants through culture and local talents, and thus change the fate of the entire neighborhood and its community

We create jobs and increase hope in young people through the enhancement of cultural heritage of our neighborhood.

The principles of cooperation, the choice to invest in youth, and the involvement of the local community are the pillars that make our management model an example of social innovation.

This model, applied to the enhancement of the cultural assets of the Rione Sanità, has produced an extraordinary "generative" impact in terms of employment, personal and professional growth, urban regeneration, and social inclusion.

In 2022 we won the European Heritage Award / Europa Nostra Award 2022, the most prestigious European award for cultural heritage.

The results we have achieved over time come from the desire to invest in areas such as youth entrepreneurship, education, generative welfare, and innovative start-ups.

"On the anniversary of 18 years of activity, we want to renew our logo and redesign our visual identity to better reflect the great variety of facets that Paranza nurtures."

How we do that

Through a shared design workshop that expresses better our way of doing, thinking and designing: working together.

Teaching and Goals

During the workshop, a participatory and co-design methodology will be applied. Through the 'learning by doing' approach we aim to stimulate the creative process and maximize its possibilities. The aim of the workshop is to define the new visual identity system of the Cooperativa La Paranza del Rione Sanità of Naples in a shared and cooperative way.

Teachers and Facilitators

Enrico Ausiello & Roberto Ciarambino — 17studio

We design visual stories while listening to fresh music, no Reggaeton. We believe in the power of the creative process, not on Sundays. We connect different people to create customized work teams, excluding racists. This is the manifesto of 17studio, a small independent studio founded in 2018 by Enrico Ausiello (professor of Motion Design at IUAD) and Roberto Ciarambino (co-founder and creative director of ORME Sharing & Research, associate and lecturer of La Scuola Open Source, visual communication manager of showdesk ODV, and co-founder of ORME Sharing & Research), with home in the province, in the public park of Pomigliano d'Arco. We deal with the design of visual identity systems, motion design, art direction and communication strategies. From 2020 we also have become an independent record label and since 2003 we have shoot the peninsula at the pace of boom bap.
